Clinical Study of Astemizole-eombi, for Allergic rhintis

Abstract
|
|
|
To evaluate the therapeutic effect of astemi-zole-combi., the clinical study was carried out in 30 patients of perennial allergic rhinitis.
The following results were obtained.
1. After 14 days of treatment, the mean symptom scores for sneezing, nasal obstruction, and rhinorrhea improved from 1.79 to 0.29, 2.25 to 0.38, 1.88 to 0.29 respectively.
2. After 14 days of treatment, the overall treatment effects were 93.1%(excellent : 55.2%, good : 34.5%, moderate : 3.4%).
3. The side effects were noted in 2 patients(one patient ; mild facial edema, one patient : lethargy), but those were minimal.
